We were blessed that we were able to spend Christmas with both sides of our family this year. I wanted to make a quilt for my in-laws, and I accomplished this task this year by going through my stash of fabrics and picking a few that went nicely together. I love how the quilt turned out and how the colours and patterns work so well together.
I used to live quite close to the church that is in the picture below... and every time I would walk past this church on my dog walks I would think, "this would make the ideal location to take a picture of a quilt"... but alas I never took a picture of quilt there the entire time I lived 2 blocks away. Now that I am no longer walking distance, I had to get in the car and drive to this location, but it was well worth it, as I really like the way the photo turned out and the quilt against the backdrop of the church and archway makes for a really nice photo.
2015 went by far to quickly and I will be back to work before I know it... my plan is to get two more quilts accomplished before I return (I finished one today, that I will share in a few days), here's to hoping that happens.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
