It's been a busy start to 2014, and now we are almost half way through the year!
Being a part of the Street Fair was an incredible experience. There were many talented artists, crafters, and musicians, that I had the opportunity to share the street with yesterday.
I have to thank my lovely sister for watching Ellie for us all day yesterday. I also have to thank my husband Shawn for pushing me to challenge myself with choosing new and interesting quilt patterns and for the countless hours that he took care of Ellie so that I could quilt. In addition, he helped me out all day yesterday. I could not have done it without his help. He even helped me sew together a shop sign for the booth at 11:00pm on Friday night!
It was a great weekend... an exhausting weekend... but a great weekend! Thanks to all of those that came out to Street Fair and I hope my quilts have found homes where they will be enjoyed for years to come.
Here is a picture of my husband and I at our booth, we look so happy, I can't help but smile when I look at this picture:
I am going to take a couple weeks off quilting, we are heading away this upcoming weekend to Whistler, British Columbia. It will be a nice break, but I already have some projects lined up for my return, so the break won't be too long!
