After following Maureen Cracknell on Facebook and Instagram I have become inspired to take better pictures of my quilts. This weekend we headed out to Pumpkin Hollow for a little family outing and I decided to take this last project along to get some decent pictures of the quilt. I absolutely love the way the pictures turned out and I also love the quilt. It's a very simple quilt, but I love the neutral space on the quilt (not something that I usually do).
The material for the quilt comes from Art Gallery Fabrics' line Morning Walk by Leah Duncan. I don't know if I have ever fallen in love with a fabric line more than this one... the simplicity of the patterns and colour pallet is beautiful and I think lends itself to be quilted in a simple non-busy fashion... hence my final product. I hope this quilt will be treasured by the little girl that is receiving it.
Now onto new projects...
